Onbookr connects to Razorpay so Indian professionals can accept UPI, net banking, and Indian debit/credit card payments directly at booking — with no commission taken by Onbookr, and payouts straight to your Indian bank account.
Stripe is the default payment gateway for most global booking software — but Stripe payouts in India come with restrictions, currency conversion, and settlement delays. PayPal is even less common among Indian clients. Razorpay is built for India: instant INR settlements, support for every major Indian payment method, and payouts directly to your local bank account.
UPI is how most Indians pay for things today. When a client books a session and the checkout shows a UPI option, they complete the payment in seconds — no card details, no international payment friction. Higher completion rates mean fewer abandoned bookings.
Payments collected via Razorpay are settled directly to your configured Indian bank account on Razorpay's settlement schedule — typically T+1 or T+2 for most account types. Onbookr never holds funds or takes a cut. The only deduction from each transaction is Razorpay's standard processing fee.
Onbookr does not charge a percentage of your booking revenue. You pay a flat monthly subscription — that's it. When a client pays ₹2,000 for a session, Razorpay deducts their processing fee and the rest goes to you. Onbookr takes nothing from the transaction.
UPI
Clients pay instantly via GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, or any UPI-enabled app — the fastest payment method in India.
Net banking
All major Indian banks supported — HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, and more.
Debit and credit cards
Indian Visa and Mastercard debit/credit cards accepted. No requirement for international card access.
Razorpay wallet
Clients can pay from their Razorpay wallet balance if they have one.
EMI options
Razorpay's built-in EMI support lets clients split larger bookings into monthly payments.
Create a Razorpay account at razorpay.com and complete KYC verification for your business or individual account.
From the Onbookr dashboard, go to Payment Settings and select Razorpay as your payment gateway.
Enter your Razorpay API key and secret from the Razorpay dashboard. Onbookr stores these securely and uses them only to process bookings.
Enable payment on any service in your booking page. Clients will now see Razorpay checkout — with UPI, net banking, and card options — before their booking is confirmed.
Onbookr supports Stripe and PayPal alongside Razorpay. If you work with clients outside India who pay in USD or EUR, you can accept those payments through Stripe or PayPal on the same account — without switching platforms.
